ASSESSMENT SYSTEM (2020-21)

For Classes I-VIII


Final result will be calculated out of 200 marks for each subject i.e. Term - 1 +
Term - 2 = 200 Marks.

Pass criteria P.G. - V (33% marks in each subject as well in aggregate). Fail in 2 subjects will be EIOP(Retest). Fail in more than two subjects means Detain (NEIOP).

Pass criteria (VI - VIII) 33% in individual subject as well in aggregate. Fail in one subject will be EIOP(Retest). Fail in more than one subject means Detain (NEIOP).



For Classes IX-XII


The Annual Exam will be conducted out of 80 marks and Internal Assessment will be of 20 marks. The calculation of result will be 80 marks (Annual), 10 marks (TEE-1+TEE-2+TEE-3), 5 marks Copy Assessment and 5 marks Project. The Promotion Criteria will be minimum 33% marks in each subject.

RULES OF ASSESSMENT

Please do not schedule any appointment on test days. In case a student is absent in classes I-VIII, 60% marks of Previous/Next test taken will be awarded and CBSE norms will be applicable on classes IX-XII.

Students reporting late for exam will not be given any extra time for answering the question papers.

Unfair Means: Students found using any unfair means during any of the assessment will be given a zero in that subject. Parents and the concerned student will be summoned and asked to provide an explanation. A repeat of such an action in future will result in the prompt issue of Transfer Certificate, without notice.

The answer scripts will be shown to students after evaluation.

Requests for the issue of Progress Report before the declaration of results will not be entertained.
