“Yes it is !!!”

Say the students of Guru Nanak Modern School. The school conducted a virtual cooking without fire activity for our little champs on 3rd June 2021. Cooking without fire develops confidence, fine motors skill and eye-hand coordination. Cooking encourages creative thinking and awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without flame.

Father’s Day

“Your arms were always open when I needed a hug; your heart understood when I needed a friend; your gentle eyes were stern when I needed a lesson; your strength gave me wings so that I could learn to fly.”

Selfless love of a father is pivotal in nurturing the child and there could not be a more universal celebration than the one that celebrates the accomplishments and efforts of Father. Celebrating this precious bond, the Kindergarten Junior kids of The Pumpkin celebrated virtual “Fathers Day” on 18th June, 2021.

Paper Crush Painting Crumpled Paper Art

“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”

In order to trigger the imagination and enhance the creative skills of our toddlers Guru Nanak Modern School has organized an online paper crush painting for our tiny tots.
Paper crumbling is a very nice way to add effects in a simple drawings. It is also one of the best way to use crushed and crinkled chart papers or drawing sheets. It provided our little champs with wonderful schematic learning through repeatable actions, it develops fine motor skills.

Don’t trash our future: Recycle

“Waste isn’t waste untill we waste it. Creativity is making marvelous out of the discarded”.

We, at Pumpkin believe that there is a need to preserve what we have today, if we wish to see a better tomorrow. And who, other than the young generation of today, can play a vital role in preserving and restoring that, what is here and ours today by learning the importance of ‘Reuse and Recycle. With this thought in our mind, Class Kindergarten Junior organized ‘Best Out of Waste Activity’ on Wednesday June 16, 2021.The objective behind this activity was to encourage our young Dipsites’ imaginative skills to create useful and innovative products out of waste material. The participants had to emphasize on their creative effort, neatness, presentation and utility of the product. We were amazed by the innovative thoughts and creativity of our young Dipsites when they came up with the products like Bangle Pen Stand. We feel proud to say that this young generation is here to bring a positive change in the society and preserve our Mother Nature and its resources very responsibly. They truly are the global citizens in making.
